Cloudy skies are expected for most parts of the nation on Saturday with heavy rainfall set to pound southern regions and Jeju Island. 

The Korea Meteorological Administration forecast on Friday that rain will fall from early hours Saturday in the Jeolla provinces and Jeju before spreading to all southern regions and the Chungcheong provinces during the day. 

Fifty to 100 millimeters of rain will pound the South Jeolla Province and Gwangju, with some coastal and eastern inland areas in the region expected to see more than 180 millimeters of rain. 

Jeju is projected to see between 50 and 150 millimeters of rain while Seoul will witness less than five millimeters of rain. 

Morning lows will stand between 20 and 23 degrees Celsius while afternoon highs will range between 24 and 30 degrees.
