The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) climbed 35-point-03 points, or one-point-29 percent on Thursday to close at two-thousand-742.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose two-point-94 points, or zero-point-33 percent, to close at 882-point-nine.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened one-point-eight won against the U.S. dollar, closing at one-thousand-347-point-one won.
