They began by asking him about his current routine and if it is the same as when he was still in the army. He explained that he still feels tired at night but is pushing himself to get back to work.

I still feel sleepy around 10 or 11 at night, but I have to get back on my work schedule, so sometimes I go to bed late, or wake up at five in the morning.

According to other Korean men who have undergone military life as well, the army follows a strict schedule that includes waking up at 6:30 AM and working for 11 hours until 5:30 PM.

The daily schedule consists of getting up every day at 6:30 AM and doing work until 5:30 PM with a two-hour lunch break.

Jin enlisted in the military on December 13, 2022 as an active duty soldier. Following the completion of his training, he continued to serve as an assistant instructor in the same battalion.

Now, several days after he has finished his military service, he seems to be adjusting well to life back outside.

It seems like I’m readjusting pretty quickly. It’s been around eight days since I got out and I’ve been working every day except one.

Jin

It hasn’t been as tough as many people may expect. Jin laughingly attributed his ability to adjust easily to being a “superstar.”

But it’s just something I do, you know? Because I’m a superstar.
