The first-generation legendary idol Ayumi has given birth to her first child.
Ayumi took to her Instagram recently and announced that she had welcomed her first child, a healthy daughter, on June 10.
The idol described her incredible first few moments as a mother, saying she would never forget the moment she heard her daughter first cry. She also shared about her difficulties in this journey, being pregnant for the first time at an older age.
I was worried because this was my first pregnancy and I am and older mother. But I am so thankful to our baby for coming to us healthy and well.

Meanwhile, Ayumi debuted as part of the first-generation group Sugar in 2002. She would go on to become a top idol, gaining massive popularity for her talents as both singer and entertainer. Ayumi married businessman Kwon Ki Bum in October 2022, and the couple have made quite a few appearances before the camera, including on shows like Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny on SBS.
