When you think of BLACKPINK‘s Rosé, several things likely come to mind, including talent and beauty. One of the idol’s physical features that she is also known for is her eternally long blond hair.
Though she has changed styles through the years, blond hair is what most are familiar with seeing her have.
Unexpectedly, the idol’s long tresses have proven more iconic than previously thought, inspiring a trainee to become an idol!
The survival show I-Land 2, began airing in late April and introduced 24 contestants competing to debut in a new girl group under WakeOne Entertainment.
The series is halfway over, with half of the contestants being eliminated before the show’s second part and the fate of several being left to be discovered in part two. One of these in the latter category is contestant Yoon Jiyoon.
Yoo Jiyoon has jumped across the rankings as the show progressed, ending up in the Ground in episode four, only to be ranked first in the following episode. Visually, her resemblance to Rosé is apparent, with the Jiyoon having a similar nose and face shape, full cheeks, and round eyes.
With this resemblance, it is a bit ironic that Jiyoon was inspired to become an idol by Rosé’s hair!
In an interview clip from the latest episode, Jiyoon talks about how her singing aspirations began, saying that as she watched BLACKPINK videos, she was struck by Rosé’s gorgeous hair, saying “that was first start of my dreams.”
This shows just how iconic everything about Rosé is!
