The venue staff helped them after a health flare-up.

On May 26, TXT performed at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas. A MOA, Shannon (@gyufairie_), shared their experience at the concert via X (formerly Twitter). They explained that they suffered a health flare-up, and MOAs bullied them.

to the houston moa who decided to attack me for having a health flare up which resulted in me being brought to the front of the line: this is for you. your ableism has left me terrified of the kpop community. i should not feel bad for being disabled.

Shannon explained that they were in a wheelchair, and the heat triggered health issues. So, security was escorting them to the front of the line. This sparked a fight among the MOAs in line, who accused Shannon of faking their disabilities to get special treatment.

Shannon also shared their friend’s post about the incident. The upset concert-goers had been there since early morning, although it was not GA. They all had seats.

While the other fans left Shannon “terrified of the kpop community,” the venue staff and HYBE attempted to make up for it and make it a great experience in the end. Minute Maid Park staff helped upgrade them to the ADA floor, which HYBE agreed to. Additionally, Shannon was gifted TXT’s welcome sign from their dressing room.

So, Shannon was thankful to HYBE, TXT, and Minute Maid Park. They helped bring happiness and hope into their life after the traumatic experience.

Hopefully, Shannon’s good outweighed the bad at the concert.
