Famous dog trainer and television personality Kang Hyung Wook has been exposed by his employees. According to employees, the trainer has not only been providing poor work conditions, but they have also been illegally monitored using CCTVs.
The former workers of Bodeum Company claimed that he installed 9 CCTV cameras to monitor 6 employees. CCTVs are illegal in South Korea if the relevant parties such as employees do not know about it. In Kang’s case, he had claimed the CCTVs were used to prevent theft, even “installing” one at the company’s door. It was later found out that the CCTV at the door was fake, but the ones inside the office were real. Employees only found out about it when repairmen came to fix the cameras when Kang was overseas.
Things blew up when the employees found out that CCTV had been installed in the area where female employees changed their clothes. When a former employee brought up the issue as illegal, Kang’s wife threatened them with lawsuits.
Kang became famous as a dog trainer. He even has his own YouTube channel, where he invites many idols and their pets. BLACKPINK‘s Jennie and SEVENTEEN‘s S.COUPS are among the famous guests.
